I’ve just made the new design live. You’re lookin’ at it. There’s still a lot to do technically, but here it is.

Looks great — the footer is off however. It’s about 40 pixels shifted left out of the grid background.

Yes, there is a footer issue, unclear if it’s meant to be over to the side like that, but it does seem a bit strange if that is the intended design.
Also, on Firefox 1.5 on Mac, you get a horizontal scroll if the width of the browser is less than 1024 px. This would be OK, but visually it looks like there’s lots of room so it seems a bit weird.

one more thing, the archive index pages are mighty funky.
I also get the horizontal scroll bar and off-set footer in Camino. Other than that, it looks great.

I’m havon the same problems with the footer and the archive with Firefox 1.5 on Win. Archive entries seem to be shifted to the left.
My two cents worth concerning the order of comments: keep them the way they are (oldest on top).
